An Invitation

Quietly working,
together.

Every Friday, join a virtual community of people quietly working on their finances together.

No lectures. No pressure. No judgment.

Just one dedicated hour to finally tackle the financial tasks you have been putting off.

Sometimes the hardest part is not knowing what to do. It is simply getting started.

Body doubling allows people to work quietly alongside one another, even virtually. Sometimes having someone working beside you is all the accountability you need to finally begin.

Whether you are reviewing your budget, paying bills, organizing receipts, checking your bank accounts, updating your net worth, or simply opening your banking app for the first time this week, you will have a supportive community doing the same.

How It Works

One hour, three gentle steps.

  1. Step 01

    11:45 AM

    Optional Arrival

Join early to settle in. Grab your lunch, coffee, tea, or favorite beverage. Find a quiet space, log in, and take a few moments to transition from your workday.

  2. Step 02

    12:00 PM

    Financial Focus Begins

The session begins promptly at 12:00 PM ET. Everyone shares the financial task they will be working on in the chat. There is no required task — each person decides what deserves their attention that day. Then everyone quietly works together for one focused hour.

  3. Step 03

    1:00 PM

    Wrap-Up

Take a moment to recognize what you accomplished and head into the weekend knowing you already checked in with your finances.

Community Guidelines

A shared space,
held with care.

  • 01

    Share your task.

Before the session begins, post the financial task you will be working on in the chat.

  • 02

    Camera on is strongly encouraged.

You may turn your camera off if absolutely necessary, but keeping it on helps create the accountability that makes body doubling effective and reduces the temptation to wander away from your task.

  • 03

    Work quietly.

Once the focus session begins, maintain a quiet working environment.

  • 04

    Stay focused.

Avoid unrelated multitasking during the session.

  • 05

    Respect privacy.

Do not record, photograph, share, or discuss another participant’s personal information outside the session.

  • 06

    Arrive on time.

The working session begins promptly at 12:00 PM ET.

A note on privacy: Please avoid displaying account numbers, balances, passwords, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive financial information on camera or in the chat.

Preparing For Success

Find a space
that feels calm.

For the best experience, join from a space that helps you feel calm and focused. A clear environment can support a clearer mind and make it easier to stay focused on the task in front of you.

  • A home office
  • A quiet office or conference room
  • A kitchen table
  • A coffee shop
  • A library
  • A coworking space

Why Friday at Lunch?

Let’s be honest… by Friday evening,
ain’t nobody got time for budgets.

Between happy hours, date nights, family plans, errands, and finally getting a chance to relax after a long week, financial tasks usually get pushed aside.

That is why we meet during lunch.

You are already taking a break from work, so why not use one intentional hour to check in with your finances?

By the time Friday afternoon rolls around, you can head into the weekend knowing you already took care of it.

No financial guilt. No Sunday-night stress.
No wondering where your money went.

Give your finances one hour during lunch, so your weekend belongs to you.

What Makes This Different?

Not a class.
Not a webinar.
Just focused time.

This is not financial coaching.

This is not a budgeting class.

This is not another webinar you will half-listen to while answering emails.

It is simply a dedicated hour to work on the financial tasks you have been putting off — with a supportive community quietly doing the same.

Sometimes the biggest barrier is not knowing what to do.
It is finding the time, focus, and accountability to actually do it.

Why Is This Free?

Access, without
a sales pitch.

I believe everyone deserves a dedicated space to build healthier financial habits.

Financial Focus Friday is my way of making accountability and community accessible to anyone who needs it.

There are no sales pitches, no hidden agenda, and no expectation that you will become a client.

My hope is simple: that one focused hour each week helps you build confidence, reduce financial avoidance, and create lasting habits — one Friday at a time.
